When adding a Local Business schema site wide via “Enable Easy Site Entity Schema” the URL matches the WordPress Address, in my case myurl.com/wp, but it should match the Site Address instead (myurl.com).

    Hi @aaronkessler.de

For Simple Schema item of Local Business, You may select the “Fixed Value” for “url” property and then enter whatever URL you want for this field value.

Please check this screenshot for clarity:

Thanks for the reply. If I need to use a simple schema item anyway, what is “Enable Easy Site Entity Schema” for? Shouldn’t this be considered a bug?

do you agree? an simple schema is not suitable since i want a site wide schema with the option for site wide opening hours.

Well, the nature of both Easy Sitewide schema and Simple Schema Items is for easy “click and configure”.
If anything more than the default is needed, we have “Advance Schema Items” which gives you all the power you need to configure schema.

in your use case, I shall recommend you watch this video to add a Local Business schema with all the configuration options available for all properties of LocalBusiness.

It is pretty easy with Advance schema item as well.
Give it a try and if you still face any issue, please send us an email at support@uschema.io with your wordpress install admin credentials and we shall do it for you.
Please provide instructions of what values to use for the LocalBusiness Properties.

    Hope it helps.
    Cheers,
    Rao

    Hey Rao,
I think you’re getting me wrong, I try to report what I would consider a bug, to help you make a better product so that I and other customers are more satisfied. I would like you to confirm if it is a bug or not and let us know that you will fix it or explain why it is should not considered a bug.

I know I could use an advanced schema item, but if Easy Site Entity Schema is basically all I need, should it not use the Site Address instead of the WordPress Address.

The Side Adress points to my Site base URL (you may use get_home_url()).
The WordPress Adress points to the url WordPress is installed (you may use get_site_url()).
